The Voyager encounters a group of people stranded on an alien planet. On contact with them, it turns out they are survivors of a failed Borg cube found nearby. The survivors have an interesting request for the crew of Voyager, one that might lead to putting Voyager in danger. This is the first time we encounter the Borg in any significant capacity in the series. They will become the main antagonist by the end of the season.
